I have been wearing contacts for 3 years and just started having problems with them. I sit at a computer all day, but I dont know if this is the prob. or not. Anyways, corner of my eyes are getting real red, and dry. Soon as I put drops in my eyes burn. I just put in new contacts a while ago. Do I have an eye infection or is this just from looking at a computer all day?

Someone I know has the EXACT same problems as you do. It's and infection. Everytime she puts on contacts, her eyes are super red and dry and she looks like she's crying dry tears all the time. But once she takes them out and puts on glasses, her eyes stop hurting. Then the redness and itchiness slowly fades. And she stares at a computer screen for most of the day, so i can safely say that it's the contact's problem. Now, my friend is thinking about laser eye surgery because it's clear that contacts will only damage her eyes. Maybe that's what you should do.

you probably need to see a doctor i used to wear contacts then my eyes started burning and itching when i went to the Dr it turned out i had a dry cornea I'm using the daily ones now its seems to help and if you sit at the computer all day try to rest your eyes every now and then and use the refresh drops often and the best thing is to take a little break from the contacts go back to the glasses for a while and you would feel much better once you wear your contacts again

if it just started doing it, you might have an infection. i would think if it was a problem with your contacts, it would have happened slowly overt ime.
either go to the doctor or wear your glasses for a few days. if it clears up on it's own, your eyes may be getting too dry ...

Maybe you need to let your eyes breathe a little, wear glasses for a couple days and then try the contacts and see how they feel or maybe your eyes are just tired?

I have not had that problem when I wear contact lenses. It sounds like you ought to go see your eye doctor, or wear your glasses for a few days.

Sounds like conjunctivitis. Go see the eye Dr. because it could lead to more than that if not treated.
