As much as it grates on my conservative nerves, and my great desire to strangle somebody doing it on the news, I have to support it as a freedom of expression.

Anyone who burns the American Flag is a enemy of the USA
and the majority of the American Flags are made in the USA and only a few are made in China. Get your facts straight...

I'm English - I don't know if american laws are the same, but if an englishman were to publicly burn an islamic crescent, he would be jailed on charges of racism - yet muslim protesters are free to burn the Union Jack while police stand idly by....
I say "when in rome"..
The USA & UK provide over-generous hospitality for immigrants, & when these people show contempt for their host nation by burning it's flag (or in any other way) they should be deported immediately with no question & no right to appeal.

If we ban flag burning, we join an elite club. Currently, the only nations in the world that ban flag burning are China, Cuba, and Iran. Lofty company to be sure.
