I used to not shave under my arms because when I did I got razor bumps, ingrown hairs and the lymph nodes in my arm pits would swell and be painful. I was told by my doctor not to do it unless I was going to a special event and was wearing something sleeveless. In that case I was to use hair removal cream. I did that for awhile but got tired of my deodorant sticking to my underarm hair. I now use hair removal cream on a semi consistant basis. If you are going to keep the hair under your arm be prepared to ignore those who think its gross and tell you so. I had to.

i think you should always shave your underarm if you a girl even if your a teen its a way of taking care of your body....and plus it is a little gross..lol
