i used to love posidein adventure and am glad they are remaking that as the original seems a bit naff now. Also the towering inferno i loved as a kid.

But my fav. is probably 'Twister' and I cannot BELIEVE they haven't made a sequel! I mean in the age of sequles and hollywood cashing in on sucess I am surpried they haven't, truth be told its the only sequel i have ever wanted.

The Towering Inferno was by far the best disaster movie even though the original Airport was good too. Airport had way too many sequels. I still say the best sequel to Airport was Airplane oops sorry that was a parody. I am not sure if The Towering Inferno should be re-made. What building should this time? A fictional like the original or a real one?

Armagedon A mixture of disaster and space adventure.

tied with

Core A remake of Journey to the Center of the World gone high tech.

As for a remake, technically not a disaster film, "Them" where a nuclear distaster creates gigantic ants that reak havoc on the world. I just wnt to see it remade.

Twister was a dam good movie, but my favorite was Armageddon, I always cry, I think they should do better graphics and try not to get too carried-away tho, since half the stuff on there seemed unreal....
