No, who prays to a book?
Praying to Harry Potter on the other hand I can see as possible, not likely, but possible. Events tend to be too well documented now a days and there is less confusion over whether a piece of (current) writing is fact and fiction.
Of course, knowing how crazy some people can seem, I wouldn't be completely surprised to hear of someone praying to Harry Potter now.

The Bible is a book, but it's a book that has thousands of years of history behind it. There is a story behind it, not just somebody picking up a pen and writing it. I love Harry Potter, but I doubt anybody will ever pray to it.

People kind of already do that, but not to the extent of the bible, and yes, i do think that in the future people will be praying to the harry potter books. There are some pretty weird cults out there

No- really, is HP a religion or a very popular fiction book? As much as i LUV HP (note my nickname), i definately don't pray or worship it!!! In a thousand years, I think Christians will still be staying true to either the current Bible or be using a "new and improved" version, perhaps. But definately not to HP! Anyways- in 1,000 years, I doubt people will even know what a book is, let alone Harry Potter.

The Bible is a compilation of books, some worthy of meticulous study, some not so worthy, some mythic, some historical, some collections of poems, songs and proverbs. In short, a mixed bag of divinely inspired revelations and trite bean-counting stupidity clothed as "profound". As to whether Harry Potter would ever be counted as a spiritual work 1000 years from now, my answer is no. I assume you meant that as ascerbic commentary on how the Bible got put together, c'est non? LOL, UC Steve.

the bible is a made up book that has no actual documents of these events happening in history. however, some retard was stupid enough to believe all that religious bull sh*t. now if somebody even questions the exsitance of god they're immidiatly shut down and called a satanist. some priest was even stupid enough to call pokemon the toy of the devil. people only use religion to start wars and hurt other people. that's why i don't have a religion yet. although i am thinking about wicca.

Who knows but most all the Best Sellers are fiction if that means anything about the bible. Fanciful tales to make us feel better about ourselves full of drama and magic hoogy-moogy. I think we'll be fairly lucky if there are any humans around in a thousand years.

Get enough people to believe and anything is possible, in Australia they do a senses every couple of years and they used to joke that if enough people put down Jedi as a religion they would have to accept it and list it as a religion. Cults are real, anything is possible
