You need a hole saw. They come in different sizes. Put it in a cordless drill and you will be done in a snap. Perfect hole and very simple. If you don't want to use the cordless drill use a brace and bit.

A bit and brace which is a hand powered drill or take the lid off the computer and burn the hole through the case with a blow torch if the metal is thin anough you could use a ice pick and hammer then wollow out the hole best thing go to walmart buy a cordless drill drill the holes then take the drill back to walmart and get your money back

You can use a punch to make a hole for the blade then use a coping saw to make the hole the size you want. But if you're going to be doing much stuff like this you should really invest in a Dremel.

I know it's kind of a power tool, but get your hands on a dremel. They're really easy to work with, and cut metal like buttah. And best of all, they're cheep! Less than 50 bucks on line!

Hahaha. You forgot to mention that you may have all the right tools, but you can never find the one you want when you need it!! Therefore you have to run out and buy a new one. Of course afterwards you will find out that you had 3 of them somewhere. It's kinda Murphy's Law. lol.

First use a compass to make the outline of the hole. Then heat up a knife over fire and melt your way through the plastic where your outline was drawn.
