Use brand name (Maxell, Memorex, TDK, etc.) blank CDs. You can get maybe 20 for $10. The CDs to get are CD-R. Do not get CD-RW CDs. These can burn but don't play back in all CD players.
Once a CD-R is burned it cannot be re burned. CDs hold 80 minutes On average thats maybe 18 songs. Heres a couple sites with thorough CD info.

I use a Windows Media Player 10 but you can use Real Player. Both of these are free.

You use a cd burning program, Nero is the most popular program, as for cd's you can use just about any cd-r disks. For the rest of your question you might want to be a tad more specific on what kind of website you want. but if you are talking about a music site that are free and safe i hear that torrents are the best way to go.

If you have media player and a friend has the songs you want then use that with a cd-r or a cd-rw (cd-rw are rewritable) and rip the songs off the cd and the go to the library and check the songs you want then click burn or copy (which ever your media player has) and if you dont have the song use the same type of cd but use limewire.com and download limewire for any song you want for free. LIMEWIRE IS FREE AND IS NOT ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!

no sites that don't cost are safe, theyre all illegal. walmart.com sells songs for 89 cents a song, which is the best ive found...most are 99 cents. u have to have a CD burner on the computer, and you should get Memorex CD's. hope it helps!

what's really cool is putting CD's in the microwave. It won't harm your microwave at all and it makes the CD look really really cool. It's fun to watch too. I recommend everyone try it.
