Reality TV is stupid people doing even stupider things. Come on! When I was a little kid, I used to flip through the channels because everything looked so good, I couldn't make up my mind. Now I flip through the channels because there is nothing but crap on 24/7.

Yes. After a while, all the networks will have is reality. Personally, I see enough reality on the news each night, and in my own life. Don't need it slammed in my face as "entertainment." The only reality show I like is American Idol, and that's because I love music.
The networks are loving this because it isn't as expensive as employing actors/actresses. Don't they realize that in a few years, acting could be a thing of the past for television? Only movie stars will be actors/actresses then.

They will keep making reality shows so long as reality shows make a profit. Since many reality shows are cheaper to produce than scripted dramas and comedies, reality shows will continue to be made even with a lower viewing audience than what would have been tolerated for another type of show.

if people would stop watching them they would eventually stop making them.
In the meantime look for some of the original programming that some of the cable channels offer. USA is a really good one for fresh programming, we like Monk and Dead Zone and there's a new show that starts Friday night that looks promising called Psyche.

I'll have to agree with you on this one. They keep making all of these new realty T.V. shows; and the worst part is they keep copying each other. Where are the good sitcoms?

i agree with you, besides how can it be "reality" if the situation is planned before hand? reality is spontaneous, unplanned. besides, i don't watch much tv because i feel insulted at what they have the gaul to call entertainment
