To be sure that you are not pregnant, the BEST thing to do is go to your doctor or your local Planned Parenthood to get a pregnancy test.
The spotting may be old blood.
Or in fact, you may be pregnant. One of the most significant pregnancy symptoms is a delayed or missed menstrual cycle.

Since you had sex and you missed your period, what makes you think you're not pregnant? Sounds like you might have had implantation bleeding and you need to take a pregnancy test right away.

hey hunn im 14 and im not sexualy active. mabe ur peroid is just late. this could b a little sign that its coming. but if u give it 3 or 4 hours and its not it id get some advice from a doctor it could b an std - hope i can help

One of my medical books did explain that brown discharge is usual around the 4th week or 1st week, whatever way you look at it. I used to get it after periods. I wouldn't worry if I were you, but if you're concerned, go see your doctor. :)

well how old are you and how many times have you had sex??? did you use protection???? is this the first time that you have ever missed your period??? and did you take a test to see if you we're or not????

For me, brown discharge usually signals that i'm gonna get my period soon. even if its late, you're probably gonna get it soon. if not, you're probably spotting and you probably are pregnant. get tested.

implant bleeding, you could be pregnant, or break through bleeding from brith control
