I think he deserved his win. He worked hard and stayed true to himself. He's different and he never compromised his style to fit in.

I am so happy he won, he deserves the title of american idol. I was routing for Catherine, but she started slipping at the end. But you can never go wrong with a person like Taylor Hicks.

well like katharine said someone had to win. i really wish the finale came down to chris and katharine like it was predicted early on. out of the two in the finale, katharine is the one that should have won. she had a better voice and will more marketable. i think the only reason people liked taylor is because he is fun to watch, and nothing to do with his singing. that's going to be really hard to sell when you don't watch him on cd. i think this could end up being another season like season 2 when the runner up has the more successful career.

This show is going down hill since Taylor won over Chris or even Paris!!! I am not even sure I will watch it next season!

I really dont know since Im not a fan of the show but apparently, his "career" is not doing so hot. I dont understand why since all u people probably voted for him and now dont want to buy his CD. Does he have one? All I know is that Im not into his music. Best of luck to him either way.

He really deserved 2 win! If it was between him and Chris, Chris shoodve but Taylor really deserved it!!!!

He sucked. Chris was much better. It is more about looks and silver hair than singing.
