Having never tried Mountain Oysters... I wouldn't know. But, knowing that Mountain Oysters are the severed testicles of a Bull, I certainly can't imagine eating the darn things raw...
And this is coming from a carniverous person who prefers his steak rare!
I don't know if I'm willing to try them or not... I won't be able to answer that until I am offered the opportunity to try them. I hear they're really tasty if prepared correctly.
Still...

commence a good campfire and enable the coals cook dinner down incredibly good. whilst the coals are cooking down soak a cedar shingle in water. Then tack the mountain oysters to the board so that they don't cut back. while the coals are actual, placed the cedar shingle onto the coals. while the mountain oysters are cooked to perfection get rid of from the warmth and pull out the nails. Then throw the mountain oysters interior the hearth and consume the board.

I couldn't bear to eat one but I know a lot of people really like them deep fat fried around here. No one in my family liked them so my Dad always just gave them to the farm dogs. The dogs liked them raw but I've never heard of people eating them raw.

cooked, you could get sick if you eat them raw. Breaded and deep fried is the best way to eat them.
