A raw, powerful story of two young men, a Wyoming ranch hand and a rodeo cowboy, who meet in the summer of 1963 sheepherding in the harsh, high grasslands of contemporary Wyoming and form an unorthodox yet life-long bond--by turns ecstatic, bitter and conflicted.
Now Was it good....Personally I wasn't moved by the story only because the storyline was done before...but visually it was amazing. Great cinematography work by Rodrigo Prieto and Ang Lee did an amazing job director....There's a lot of great shots in ...

What a fantastic movie, and I just 10 minutes ago I finished reading the short story it was based on.
If you believe the publicity, it's about a couple of gay cowboys (starting in 1963, going to '83), but it's about so much more than that. They both marry, they see each other only once a year.
Although I adore the main characters, to me this movie is about the women in thier lives and how they are affected by the love the guys have for each other. It's a very sad, very very quiet movie with some extremely good performances. Michelle Williams is out of this world.

I don't really believe you don't know what it's about, but if you really don't then it's basically a love story with a lot of good scenery in the background that was really controversial because the 2 main characters in the film were gay. It really is a pretty decent movie though, Jake Gyllenhaal does well in it, and Heath Ledger has a great performance in it. It's not graphic at all, and it's a pretty entertaining story.(They both have wives, and kids)

Its a great movie. Its a love story, plain and simple. Its really not as gay as people make it out to be. The "OZ" series on HBO makes the little kissing scenes in this movie look like Sesame Street! Watch it and see the movie for what it really is, if you're a homophobe, it may not be for you.

It's a 2005 film about two people, their families, in a time not so long ago (set in rural middle America, around 1965), and the strain they place on themselves and ones they love for being in a gay relationship they never wanted. Cinematography is great.

Yes if you are tired of media catering to males fantasies of women together, what's good for the goose is good for the gander, if you want to see a love story of two men , go ahead. They do say there is one "uncomfortable" scene at the beginning, but the rest of the movie is ok, I haven't seen it, but I probably will.

It's been out for a while. It's about a couple of cowboys (male, of course) who end up having a sexual relationship. I haven't seen it so I don't know how graphic it gets, but that's the main story.

I like this movie pretty much, it's one of my favorite, but not everyone like it, because it includes homosexual relationship. It's about two caw boys, who firstly are straight, but they fall in love with each other and had sex. The movie is following what happens with their life ( they both get married) and with their relationship. The end is very sad. If you had no prejudices about homosexual men, you'll like it.
