They just can't handle loss. There are plenty of dirty players that didn't get booed simply because they weren't as much of a threat. It's inevitable that you'll get into tussles when you're such an involved and spirited player. Funny that he's still in the lead for the Best Young Player Award (as voted so far by viewers).

He already had gotten a bad name from the fans after the England match, so he should have been mature enough & played responsibly atleast in the following games. Did he do that today against France? NO! You saw how he was still diving and playacting so blatantly - is that anywhere a sign of a spirited and mature player???

Of coarse he didnt deserve it no 1 does!!! i also felt bad 4 him especially at da end wen he was cryin cause he tried hard 2 score and help his team but it didnt happen by da way 4 all u uda ppl he isnt a cry baby he is just showin his feelins and releasin stress!!!

NOOO Cristiano didnt deserve all that boooing.. he is a very talented player & a very good guy.. (poor guy he must felt bad about the booooing thing) but i dont think he cares becoz the ppl r jealous.... yyyaaaayyy go PORTUGAL... beat GERMANYYY...

I dont like him.. and a lot of booing came from people that hate the manchester united.. and remember once booing starts.. its very hard to stop... and the better he played the worse it would be.. Im he is gone

The Portuguese team in general have behaved appallingly throughout the World Cup. They should have been booted out much earlier than this.
