Love is not absolute, it is a grey-scale from total obsession to "let's meet up in ten years time" - love is often confused with hormonal lust, and through chemical madness generally manages to trap people into a wanting a partnership that will generate children - and therefore the human species continues. Do animals love or are they just following their hormonal instincts? We are not that different from other animals. The test of true love is "would you die for this person?"

Yeah I don't think that would be being in love. Or if it is, then it would be very boring.
If a person feels in love with someone, but not sexually attracted to them-and stays with that someone anyway, then that person must fear that there is no one else that would want to be with them.

.
.
LUST can not survive without LOVE.
But LOVE can survive without lust.

All relationships quiet down to less hot and heavy lust after the first two months, and the lust slows down even more as time passes.
Couples work this out mutually.
Your parents and grandparent LOVE without daily lust...sometimes, it's months before the get the "urge" again.

Only YOU can decide if you want to be with someone and have friendship, trust, respect and all the elements of love; and be satisfied with the lust part being "settled down" to a more mature kind of mutual caring.

I wish you LOVE
