She may take her first steps tomorrow, or it could be 6 more months or even longer. My daughter, for instance, did most "gross motor" skills early, but once she could crawl across the room, then stand up once she got there, she didn't bother taking her first step until she was 17 1/2 months old; she was more interested in talking instead.

The average age is 10 -14 months.
My daughter cruised the furniture for a good 4 months before she was SURE she would not fall when she walked.
My son just took off at 11 months.
She sounds totally normal and will probably walk fairly soon.

Most babies walk around a year old. My son, however, was like your daughter, he was pulling up and walking around furniture early. He walked (and I dont mean just one or two steps) at nine and a half months. Your daughter sounds like she is ready to go, I'd expect her to at least try to take steps away from the furniture at any time now. Make sure everything is safe!

Hello i am the mother of a seven year old girl and a 2 year old boy and both of my kids didn't start walking until after their 1st birthday around 15 months. I also have a nephew that started walking really early around 10 months so they all pretty much move at their own pace.

My first daughter walked around 10-11 months old but my second daughter will be 9 months on the 8th and refuses to crawl. She will stand with little assistance and will take a few steps if you hold her hands. She loves to stand and hates to lie on her belly. My question is now when will my daughter crawl? :)

Any time now my daughter walked at 8 months as well and it took her no time at all after she started walking around stuff and holding on to things and walking. Just give it sometime don't push her to it, but it will happen any time now. good luck and congratulations

She is starting to walk already :-) Pulling herself up, balancing on tables, etc. That's about the right age, 7 months, etc. My son started early, and the day he turned 6 months, he pulled himself up for the first time. He was walking by his 1st birthday, and I mean up and down stairs. He's 19 now ... and it was only yesterday. Is your daughter cutting teeth too? I noticed this seemed to happen at about the same time my son was learning to walk.

Some babies dont walk till they are well over 12months old. The fact that your daughter is trying I would say you only have a month left. Believe me once they start walking you will wish they didn't start. Goodluck

9 months for crawling is widespread. She's doing nice. do not problem about some thing. I actual have 3 youthful ones and that all of them diverse at how old they were at the same time as they began strolling. 2 of them began strolling at about a million year old and one, unusually adequate began crawling at 6 months old and replaced into strolling the subsequent week. It replaced into weird and wonderful. human beings would freak out because she replaced into so little and strolling. LOL! It replaced into humorous!

Each child is different, but I bet she walks around 9-10 months since she is doing so well hanging on to stuff.
Isn't if fun to watch them grow? Mine amazes me everyday.
