I just had a question deleted because it used a forbidden word- undoubtly someone reported me because obviously the Y! Answers team doesnt check themselves (you can put "hentai" in the answers search box and 150 questions will come up that havent been deleted). Now that I think about it, some questions that get deleted because of the adult content reason, should get deleted. But dont you think there should be some kinda place on Y! Answers for people with questions that have adult content in them to be able to post and not get deleted? What are you're ideas on how this could work? Maybe have it moderated by a staff member? dunno- what do you think?

An adult content section would be good.Adult comedy would be fun for some.It might be that censorship is illegal because of copyright laws. There might be a groundswell. If he's got to talk about his nob that would be the place to do it.

Hi there I am no human speech specialist, but the concept of adult content, would be the use of language of a improper nature, so if you want ask these so called explicit questions that you cannot find the appropriate replacement word/words, then the question cannot be of much importance, don't you think. Well that is my answer, hope you get more help in this area

ok. here's my two cents. the trouble with that is: some ppl cd get offended by adult content, and some ppl think kids r threatened by adult content. In order to avoid legal problems, Y! (and not only them) has taken the policy not to even speak about it. Lame safeguard but there it is: a sort of dont ask, dont tell, and no one gets hurt. And yes, I feel treated like a teen when I'm online too (i'm 34), but I guess its safer that way. Doesnt mean I dont hate it, tho.

This isn't a porn site. It's Yahoo. It's for everyone, not just adults. There is no way, without imposing a monetary fee to the user, to make a section for people to ask questions in any manner they choose.

If you wanna start paying for the site then send Yahoo a check, but until you do you have no rights as to how the site is run.

the rules here have been thought out carefully by the staff to accommodate all ages, there are young and old on here; some that don't mind adult content and some that do, to be fair these rules govern all ages. please be so kind as to abide by them
