How do you cut the "impossible dovetail"?

Look at the mug tree at this link: http://www.routerworkshop.com/S100.html
I can't find instructions for this anywhere. Can anyone help me???

Believe it or not, there is a dovetail template thingy at places like Menards, Home Depot..etc. Made for routers.
For things like drawers, I've done it by hand..

It's just a dove tail cut all the way through the 2X2
