Politicians are more interested in doing whatever it takes to get re-elected next term.
A tax cut will get more votes than a research project on global warming. Voters want immediate action. You can't get immediate results in solving global warming.
But who voted these guys in office ?????

Because global warming has not been totally proven to be the fault of humans.

It has not been proven yet the extent that man causes global warming. Why destroy our economy if we are not the cause?
