I saw a Milwaukee saw, model 6480-20 in my Grainger catalog (396), item 3EB50, page 1288, $1300. Check in grainger.com.

I recently saw some detailed plans for making one in a recent issue of Workbench Magazine. All it required was an extra 7 1/2" circular saw that would be permanently mounted to the device. I have not yet made it, but it looked like a very workable and easily assembled project, plus it stood vertically against the wall just like the real thing. I'm sorry, I do not have the issue date and have packed my mags away while I am moving. But I would say that it was somewhere from Jan to March 06. Perhaps you could find it on their web site in the archives.

A power circular saw will do the same job with some sawhorses without shelling out the $2000 for the stand up saw they use at lowe's to cut plywood. It will also do a lot of cuts, message if you need more information
