There are 1609m in a mile. So divide 40000 metres/hr by 1609 and you get miles per hour:
= 25 miles/hr.

kilometer is a unit of distance but Mph is a unit of vilocity
but if u mean 40 Km/h divide it by 1.609
40 /1.609 = 24.8
40Km/h = 24.8 Mph

64 mph b /c there are 1.6 kilometers in a mile so just multiply 40 by 1.6 to convert to miles

40 kilometer are distance and mph is velocity ...cant converter sir :)...for knowlegde 1kilometer =0.62miles

u are missing a part of the equation. the formula is speed = distance/time u dont have the time so it would be impossible to figure out.and u would have to convert km into miles too.

Wrong question.
40 km = distance
mph is speed.
You cannot compare speed with distance.

go to google.com type in km to mph and it will give you a converter...same for any measurment.
