Babysit. Take the CPR class, get some references by taking jobs with your folks along, and then branch out. We pay $8 per hour for a girl your age. Often, the infant is already sleeping so you basically sit, watch movies, and dial a cell phone for help if things don't work out.

I had my first "unofficial" job sanding furniture for a mean alcoholic at 10 years old. I made just $2 per hour and saved $600 for my first sailboat. Best feeling in the world.

Best luck.

P.S. Why such a spendy camera?

best advice i can give you is don't spend 384 dollars on a new camera, go on overstock.com and buy a cheaper on that at you age will give you the all you need. unless you are an expert and plan on using you pictures for something other than taking pictures of your friends you don't need that good of a camera. by explain to you father that you don't need that best but you would like to get a middle of the road camera he will think your responsible enough. At that point offer to help your parents in whatever they need along with offering to help your neighbors with anything you may be able to assist. showing your responsible is not going to come by you have $384 yet it will come by you parents seeing there little girl growing up and not asking for more that she needs. Also don't sell your stuff on eBay you may regret it years down the road.

If you need fast cash, try setting up an account on Ebay and selling some of your stuff... you'd be surprised at how much people will pay for old stuff, and you will get to clean out your closet in the process! You could also try working around your area doing work for neighbors... that is a harder option, but you can do it and make some money at least.

I suggest you to get an unoffical job at any restaurant as a dish washer and get at the end of the day $4.15 USD per hour paid with cash.

Sell things on ebay. I'm sure you have many items that you don't want or need anymore.
