The reason that diapers are so expensive is that they are very expensive to make. In order to sell them at a "competitive" price, retailers sell them at a loss. They make no money on diapers - that is why most diapers are the same price in every store, and there are never really sales on them.

My daughter uses the Target Brand diapers. We buy them at $12.39 for a box of 104 count (size 3). They work great, they are comfortable on her (she doesn't object or break out), and they are a hell of a lot cheaper than the name brands.

I buy mine at Kroger, I don't know if they are all over the U.S. or just Texas, but they have great prices if you get a Kroger Plus card which is free, also, when you shop there they usually print out a coupon with the receipt, for the same brand, which saves you around $2.50 the next time. I love this, it makes them cheaper than the generic brand at Wal-Mart

it looks like your amazon is a better deal than even http://www.1800diapers.com/
which has 124 pack for 38.99 (3.99 shipping unless you spend more than 45.00)

with this deal, you'd get them for 36.99, but unless you buy 2, you wouldn't get the free shipping.

The website above has coupons where you can receive $2 off your very first box of diapers if you use this referral code at 1800diapers: CHGR2031

It sounds like you're doing a pretty good job finding the deals on your own!

buy the store brand generic and see how you like them. I personally loved Walmart brand diapers, pull ups and so forth and they were always a few dollars cheaper than the name brands.

Try walmart, babies r us, or even walmart online. You can also go to the pampers website and ask them the same question, plus you'll get coupons.
