I am 5 feet 11 inches, 13 years old, and I weigh a whopping 148 pounds. I don't know why I weigh so much though - I am very active, I play tennis, basketball, badmiton, soccer, and I run almost everday, plus I eat healthy (and I never drink soda, and I only have sweets or junk food on occasion). I work out at home too, I do 150 sit ups everyday but I still weigh so much and I'm not loosing weight!! Should I ask my doctor for a better diet plan??

Since you're so active, all that weight could just be muscle. Unless you have a lot of flab, that's what I'm thinking. Plus you are really tall (lucky you) so you're bound to be heavier. I am 17 and I am 5'2" and 90 pounds. Since I'm so short and don't have a really big stomache (therefore I dont eat a lot) I am 90 pounds. Don't worry about it. You're lucky to be so tall and active. I should start being more active. It's good for you. You seem like you're really healthy! You're perfect!

Girl I weigh 160 and I am 5ft 3in. You are not fat. You just think you are because of all those stupid models who are around your height and weigh 110 which is way to skinny!!! If you are so fat then I'd hate to know what I am! Just chill and be glad you don't weigh more than you already do.

well honey u are very tall right? and plus 148 pounds is actually a very good weight for ure height! so no u aint fat!!!! not at all!
remeber u cant compare ur weight to other girls cause we r all difrent. and its really good that u exercise so much, id say ur in pretty good shape! well done! keep going!

Have you ever heard that muscles weigh more than fat. You are not fat. A scale gives you the total weight of your bones, organs, water, muscle, and fat. It is normal.

Alright, here's the deal:
If you're really 5'11", you're either UNDERweight, or just right.
If that's a typo, and you're really 5'1", then factor in your muscle mass before you start complaining about weighing too much, especially if you're really that active.

You dont need to lose weight at all. For your height youre pretty much perfect if not under-weight. You seem really healthy too! Good job. :P

At 5ft 11, 148pounds is not fat or over weight at all. What is making you think this? You should go to your Dr. and I'm sure he can help.

girl you are not over wieght. The taller you are the more you wiegh just ask the doctor and he or she will tell you the same. You are very tall and you are at a very healthy wieght for your hieght. you go girl

If your not increasing in size ( like around your middle) and your pounds arent increasing steadily, dont worry.
You sound like your healthy to me, I mean your almost 6 feet tall!
And you stay active.Thats sounds good.
