Okay, so that was one of the worst days of my life. Italy needs to learn how to play, as opposed to learning how to fake a foul. That's right, there have been video tapes of them learning how to drop to the ground and fake getting hurt. I'm sorry if you're for Italy, I mean that's cool and everything, but when I heard about those tapes I got so angry. Fact or fiction, it still did really look like everytime Germany had control of the ball Italy would try to set themselves up for yet another foul. And everytime they fell to the ground, screaming with what looked like excrutiating pain, they would get right back up and start running again like it had never happened. All I'm saying is that Germany deserved this- the World Cup was in Germany for God's sake, all of the players had been working for so long, and Ballack tried his hardest as the team's captain. Germany needed this victory, my family needed this victory, the flag outside my house needed an even higher purpose. But...Italy...:'(

I agree with you. I'm still not over it. And It ruined my July 4th. Damn Italy...in the finals, I hope they get beaten by France. They don't deserve the place for Final. They really cheated their way throughout their games. Agree?

i'm an american.

ps. Germany will take back World Cup 2010! All German fans should be proud of them. And Klinsmann should not quit, he should stay!

Well... how was that commercial (sorry if i'll misspell). Wilkomen zum fussbal. Any professional player learns how to "dive", learns tricks on how he can get the refferee to award a free kick or a card for the opposing team. Everybody does it, it's not just Italy. People tend to damn a football team for being of a certain nationality. They are not socialising, they are just playing. What people don't get over is the fact that Italy was better, although they hate them. And you said Germany deserved a win - not more than the italians but they played a very good game, it was their best, i agree. And about the fact that they deserved because it was in Germany, allow me to be outraged. I've _ALWAYS_ hated the fact thatthe home team should win the competition. It sounds like match fixing. The fact that they lost on home ground, and with a two-goal difference (and good goals too), is the undeniable proof that the italians were just better at the game.

Me... after all these weeks of cheering on Germany, learning random WC-related German phrases, memorizing the names of all the players from obsessing over the team, etc. etc. - that was the worst way to end with those two last minute goals. However, I do think Italy played better that day. If only we'd scored earlier!! I'm still disappointed and sad, but I hope we win on Saturday at least.

not me! i cant get over portugal losing though. i dont want france to win. italy has better take it home! and faking fouls is all part of the game. personally, i dont think germany is even supposed to be in the semi-finals, but of course the bad calls made that so.

To be sincere, I don't like germany's style of playing, and they won't get anywhere with it, the proof is that they got knocked out in the semi finals as hosts, I think they should change...
I feel sorry for your family and flag :(
