Amazing movie, but you can not categorize it in the horror genre. Much to sophisticated for that.

donnie darko s scary bc it shows tht we can never trust ppl specially the 1 who try to show himself good guy(patrik swayze role)and how our fate s written before and even if we change it,somethin worse will happen for us for the 1 we love..d d s sad bc of jake j caracter ,the guy with tht rabbit suit caracter and specially the end part,and the soundtrack MAD WORLD..and its a great film bc of great acting,dircting specially music and edit ..very very deep film.make us think and think..but its not the greatest,scariest and saddest horro film bc it s not a horor movie..its more spiritual movie.

It was strange, but interesting. Want to see scary film? See Wolf Creek, Wow! Tarentino is quoted as saying that Wolf Creek is the scariest film that he had ever seen.
its an Aussie flick.
