No, I don't think so. It is as popular in Europe as soccer is in Amercia. Soccer will never be a major sport in the USA.

Well I think it is even BUT American Football is proably more popular. Don't forget they have NFL Europe over there so they do have something over there that is Football. Soccer over here is mostly kids, with their parents watching. I don't really count that for popularity. Oh and as to the Superbowl being higher rated then the World Cup Final I wouldn't guarantee that.

tehekitten you retarded i like both sports as rare as that is for an american i have to say football (soccer) os more popular how many people from other countries do you know come to the US to watch the supoer bowli dont think any how many go to watch the world cup a whole lot lets be real rugby is tougher than nfl because they go all out and dont wear pads i like watching both sport but lets be real here nfl doesnt compare soccer is more popular in the US than american football is in europe theres only 6 nfl europe teams and they all play in soccer stadiums theres 12 soccer teams in the top league of soccer in the US and 5 are playing in stadiums built for socer only and 5 more are in plans to be built

Soccar is pretty popular in the states too and football in europe snt that popular so ill have to say soccar is more popular to the americans

are you kidding me....soccer is now the third most watched sport in the US (after football and baseball)...the World Cup game with Italy and the US outdrew the NBA finals game that week.
