i'm French, and I am extremely happy to wsee my team going to the final game.

But honestly am I the only one who think the Portugal developped a much better strategy than the french team?????

I found the French players sooooooooo statics, they were unable to keep the ball more than 3 seconds....

Well I'm French too, and Im also happy for my country, and I certainly agree with you, France scored a goal then didnt play at all, unlike the Brazil match, I hope they will be better against Italy.

Yes I agree.. the match wasn't all that exciting, and the only goal was a PK. Even at the end, though even Ricardo came up from the goal, the Portuguese didn't seem that intense about making a goal. France wasn't much better though, and they will probably get crushed by Italy in the Final. I wanted a Portugal win, but now that they've lost, I get to see them play Germany on Saturday, which is good.

France will come out on acceptable zidane is too a lot of a superb participant and portugal hasnt beat france 31yrs yet portugal hasnt lost yet in this year's international cup yet i'd nonetheless ought to assert that france will finally end up contained in the international cup very last to take the cup and zidane can retire a champion

If it was a perfect world-which we know it's not-PORTUGAL would have won. When a team wins on a penalty kick when the other team is playing so much better through-out just doesn't make it in the land of fair, does it.

I wasn't thrilled that France one by the PK, but the truth is that Henry would have scored the goal if he wasn't fouled. Portugal played better, but they couldnt finish. They had 5 good shots on goals, but just couldn't score. You can have 90% ball possession but if you cannot score, you don't win.

When you are loosing, you tend to be pressed by the opponents, they same thing happened in the EURO 2000 game against Italy but France still won. The French playing style wasn't great but what matters is that they won.
Go Zizou!!!!!!!!!!!

that game was portugal's for the taking. france played so-so but won because - with the exception of ricardo, figo, and ronaldo - portugal didn't bring their game!

portugal, as a team, played with heart, but lacked patience and discipline - too much adrenaline, maybe?!?

i wasnt thrilled either. i thought portugal at least deserved to equalise. that penalty was crap. and if it wasnt for that penalty, i think the 2nd half would have been more exciting. france (like all normal teams) tried their best to defend their 1-0 lead... that caused the game to be quite one sided, with portugal attacking and france defending. disappointing result for me.
