That's what a mime does, they don't talk. If they talked, what would their "schtick" be? They'd be a performer with a "schtick" of who-knows-what. Besides, isn't being annoying also part of the "schtick"?

No they are traped in a frickin invisible box however entertaining that is if you are really bored it gets old fast and they cant talk...unless its like that commercial in the car with the mime that says "wow" yup!
