All this question does, is show your lack of understanding of the beauty of the Italian culture. The expressed emotions are beautiful! Unlike so many other repressed cultures. With Italians it's all out there! Forza Italia!!!
And in general, many of the teams and players in football ("soccer") are emotive and that is part of the nature of the game. It is sad that you pass harsh judgement, instead of honoring other ways of being that are not like your own.
Maybe you could use a good cry-it might help release some of the toxins. Thank goodness there are men who are not afraid of being what you refer to as "crybabies" Enjoy the games!

Dunno about historically, but in this World Cup there seems to be a lot of acting/drama on the field, and the moment the ref. doesn't call the foul they are up and running like nothing happened.
