I don't know a thing about soccer. Who's playing in the world cup? What are the rules of the game? How hard or soft is that ball that continuously hits your head. How do you accumulate points? How physical is it? Do you get a headache playing with that ball constantly hitting you in the head?

Well, the final is between France and Italy. There are many rules, but the most important is No Hands!!! Except for the goalkeeper. It depends on how hard the ball is kicked when you head it. You score points by getting the ball past the opposing keeper into the net. It's pretty physical, and gets even more so the higher you get in leagues. If you hit it in the right sopt with your head, you shouldn't get a headache, but if you do it continuously, then yes, you get a headache!!!

As for who's playing, or who can play in the WC. Every nation has a chance. Qualifying rounds were play in different regions (i.e. Europe, Asia, South America...) way before the final round (the 32 finalists) which was held every 4 years. And in between, the qualifying rounds around the world will be played so it's actually an almost on-going event.

France and Italy are playing for the World Cup title on Sunday. I believe Germany and Portugal are playing for third place on Saturday. As for the rest, you'll have to ask an actual soccer player. I just watch it on tv.
