Yale with 18 if you want to count back that far. Notre Dame has 12, Michigan has 3, USC has 9, OSU has 7, and Bama 6

Notre Dame in the post IVY-LEAGUE era. USC is second, sorry folks from 'Bama, but you have 4, the Irish have 3 times as many. They also have had the most atheletes play in the NFL and only USC consistently puts out nearly as many as they do.
Notre Dame may also lead in all-time Heisman winners, though that would have to be researched.
