I woke up one day and I saw on the side of my middle finger a very small spot of green next to my nail... I thought it was marker so i tried washing it off in the shower and nothing happened. Then today, i kinda scratched that part of my finger on my desk and my skin peeled and it started oozing out. It's gone now though.. Any idea what that was?

Puss, had that before. Just keep washing that part with antibacterial soap and try to cover it up with a bandaid, even though it can't be seen, it might still be there.

Dang! Poor Baby! I swear, girls have to put up with more oozing stuff coming out of their bodies than any guy I've known. So, if you're oozing from your middle finger, it ain't from just flippin' it. It's more than likely a "girl thang." Yep, I'll betcha you have fake fingernails. There's a particular bacterial infection that SOME women get from wearing the fake fingernails, (not the kind you glue on, only the kind that is put on at a nail salon). They say it happens to those who acquire an allergy to that and the nails have to be removed before damage to the nail bed and septic or staff infection occurs. You may even have to go to a doctor for anti-biotics if that occurs. Whatever...assuming THAT is the problem, take care of it ASAP.

IT ALMOST SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAD A HANG NAIL THAT GOT A LITTLE INFECTED...NOT ENOUGH TO REALLY BOTHER YOU TILL THE STUFF CAME OUT IF IT IS STILL PEELING IN THAT SPOT IT HAD AND INFECTION THERE..YOU MAY WANT TO BUT SOME PEROXIDE ON IT AND MAYBE EVEN SOME NEOSPRONE AND A BANDAGE JUST FOR A DAY....

somthing probably got under ur skin and infected it what "ozzed" out was puss ...clean ur finger really well put a band aid on it and u should be good

Maybe you had a blister. If it comes back, go to the doctor.
