Hiatus Means

There used to be an old joke about a guy taking golf lessons from the local pro and when the series of lessons was concluded, the man asked the pro how his game was. The pro told the guy to take six months off and then quit. Hiatus is just another term for you won't be back because you are being cancelled. Only shows that are already in the can will be subsequently aired.

"On hiatus" means a show is not currently in production. You typically hear it over the summer when most network shows are on a break. But sometimes, when a show gets cancelled, they call it "permanent hiatus" which is kind of cruel.

It's means that they took an UNNECESSARY break during the season, just to build up the anticipation and frustrate everyone for no reason. LOL Don't worry, we don't have to wait much longer becuase there is a new episode airing this Monday, April 23rd. Thank Ipthar! =0)
