i wish it didnt end that way. portugal played a great game and should have equalised. then we'll see what happens from there. a match ending 1-0, scoring by penalty just feels cheap. specially for a semi final match. overall, i think portugal played better... or maybe thats becuz france decided to play boring and defensive in the 2nd half, and it made me feel that portugal were the only ones really attacking. other than that, i thought this match was ok... im disappointed with the penalty, but i'll live. and i feel cristiano ronaldo played awesome. i hope he plays like that in man utd next season.

Just as expected. France too good to Portugal, and Portugal performing theater instead of playing soccer. Portugal only scored one goal during the whole second stage, so did not deserve to be in the final.

I think Portugal played a great game in the second half but France played a great game in the first half and cemented it with a great goal. Thats what I think.

i thought both teams played well...n i guess france won 1-0 portugal but am rootin 4 portugal lk alwayz...n 4 ppl who hate portugal team imagine how many hate ur favourite team...infact in da game deir were so many injuries...mainly members from da portugal team...france is a great team perhaps dey were better prepared den portugal but it doesnt show dat francez better or anything. Anywayz...i tink portugal played deir best...itz been a long time since portugal has been in semifinals soo congratz portugal n good luck in da future...france congratz u won =)

It was a good game, both teams had their spurts, but that pk ending in the game's only goal was justified. I'm glad France won.

I think Defence of France was invincible,portogal didn't even has a chance over France,so i think France earned it storngly :)

it was a good and fair game but i think that Portuguese players were complaining and diving too much, over all Zidane was the best
