are there specific laws concerning break times for someone in Illinois that has a disability? Specifically I have MS and work a 7 1/4-7/2 hr day. Am I entitled to any specific breaks?

I don't know of any specific laws in IL, however the federal Americans with Disabilities Act is more comprehensive than most state laws. If your doctor feels you need specific breaks, the business has to provide them (although they only have to pay for the ones mandated by law) if they can reasonably do so. Start with your doctor.

you could request a reasonable accommodation to allow you to take more breaks then they are required by law to give you. it is perfectly reasonable and not detrimental to the company. you could just ask the company first without having a doctors note.
they can ask you to show a doctors note, but they can agree to any reasonable accommodation without one.
