I just turned the TV on and I saw him with the flag crying. Do u know what happened or is it just tears of joy?
Thanx for the help. One more thing: Do u think men are become more confortable to cry in public? For example, Miguel(portugal), Cristian Ronaldo(Portugal) David Beckham and other players.

he was prob just so overwhelmed and with that being so strong it he just couldnt help but cry....and i think when it comes to certain sports it is ok to cry especially when its only played once every for years...and im sure making it or losing it just places crazy emotion upon a person....kinda like the olympics....

Tears cause he know it was a bad game for France and they didn't deserve to win it.
Men should be able to show there feelings just like woman do!
And not just Portugal players

Tears of glory, joy. I don't know if they are becoming more comfortable, but I know that they have always cried on World Cups...maybe television and broadcasts are not getting more penetration, or are the ones that are more sensible to these issues.

cause the france goes through. i'm a fan of england. and i nearly cryed when portugal beat it. they cry cause they win or they lose
