let her know how stressed you get and tell her how stressful it was with your own kid. say you are working on your anxiety and trying to fix the problem (really do it too) and that maybe when you work out your own problems that youll be able to watch her kid.

i think that you should be honest of the situation; if she is a friend then surely she would thank you for the honesty...if you have stress that is manageable with your child thats great...hopefully you know when to just leave the room if he/ she gets to you and they settle down...a 9 month old is very limited in abilities to communicate and to try and figure out whats wrong is taxing...you do not want to over react or act in haste...mom surely has someone other than you to watch the baby....and again if you are friends..even best ones, you'll still be

Tell your friend you can't. Tell her why. If your friend throws a fit, she isn't a true friend.

You should also suggest to your friend that the baby needs to see a doctor. When babies cry there is always a reason.

Sounds like the baby wants her Mom, she need the closeness and love from her Mother. She is probably not getting it if this girl is always pressuring you to watch her.

Tell your friend you have your hands full with your 3 year old. Find a day care center and tell her the day care center can give better care of her child because they have the resources and you don't because you need to give your child your full attention.

I would tell her that I just cant handle it. Tell her that she needs to find someone with more patience than you have.

Has she taken the child to have her checked for food allergies? My grand daughter was like that and we took her off of milk products and the crying stopped.

Tell her you have your own kid to take care of and other things to do that you don't have time to baby sit. Tell her you don't have to patience for little baby's anymore and it stressed you out. good luck

Offer an alternative.

Tell your friend that you are busy and can't watch her child, but "this is the sitter that I use, and she is wonderful!"

More than likely your friend just trusts you because you already have a kid. Your input will definitely be taken with big thanks.

This is what you say "Girl , your kid is a wack job" No i'm kidding but just be honest with her, tell her that you cant handle something else on your plate right now.

tell her the truth....... Or tell her your going to have to criticize her parenting methods. i knew a girl (a) in the same situation and we saw girl (b) shoveling food down her baby's mouth and not burping him giving him gas and an upset tummy so maybe she is doing something that makes him cry and doesn't know it.
