I'm 15 and I found out a week ago that I was pregnant. I went on an internet site and put in the date of my last period and it worked out that I was 6 weeks pregnant.

But I think I've had a miscarriage.......I woke up at 5am with bad stomach pains and I went to the toilet and I was bleeding a lot. I didn't want to wake up my mum because I hadn't told her I was pregnant yet. I was bleeding quite a lot for about an hour and there were some quite big clots in it. I've stopped bleeding now and I don't have anymore pain.

Did I make my baby die? I didn't want it and I wished it was dead and I think it is now and I feel really bad because maybe it was my fault. I don't know what to do, do I need to go to the doctor now? I'm not bleeding anymore. I hadn't told anyone I was pregnant so I don't have anyone to talk to now. Can somebody tell me what to do?

Yes, you must go to the gynecologist sweetie. You need to find out what happened to you. and next time USE a condom, you are too young to have sex not to mention to have a baby!!

Sounds like you might have miscarried, sorry. First thing to say is it probably wasn't caused by anything you did and definitely not just by thinking you didn't want it. Many many women "miscarry" every day and don't even realise it because it was so early and they didn't even know they were expecting.

What you will need to do is contact a doctor and let them know, s it would be best for you to have a check up and possibly a clean up at the hospital. They might need to perform a procedure commonly known as a "scrape", which sounds much worse than it is (nothing to it, I'm told).

Being male I can only talk from the experience I had when my ex-wife had two miscarriages, I'm no doctor. But, you do need to talk to a doctor or nurse, take their advice and go on from there.

Hope this helps, good luck

Yes, if you knew you were pregnant and bled like that you definitely had a misscarriage and you should go see a doctor right away, because you could get an infection. Don't be afraid to tell anybody-your health is much more important! and p.s. I'm sure the miscarriage wasn't you're fault, these things just happen sometimes. But it's probably for the best in your case.

Cara, you really do need to go to see a doctor. Ideally, you need to go to the hospital now. You might have had a miscarriage, but you might not - you need to go and have a scan of your womb to check whether the baby is still there or not and then get any treatment necessary. You didn't make this happen. Wishing that the baby was dead doesn't make it die. PLEASE, tell your mum. I'm sure it will be a shock to her, but she will just want to help you and I'm sure she'll want to take you to the hospital to get checked out. Good luck.

You should definitely see a doctor. Go to someplace like planned parenthood. You may have had a miscarriage, but it was not your fault. Actually, a large portion of pregnancies are terminated by the body in the first trimester. You did nothing wrong--nothing you did caused you to have a miscarriage. But you should definitely go see a doctor.

Dear Cara it is possible you have had a miscarriage and you should go and see a Dr, every thing is confidential and the Doctor will not tell your parents.
Is it possible to talk to someone else about this? a teacher or another adult will be able to support you through this difficult time. Early miscarriages happen often through no ones fault and you have not caused this your self.
Please go and seek medical help and they will be able to help you through this situation and also help you prevent this situation happening again. J

You need to go to a Doctor.

If you were pregnant you didnt kill your baby, you cannot do that by thought alone.

Long term you need to get some advise from your Doctor on contraception and if your circumstances allow you to tell your Mum. She'll be more upset that you'd keep something like this from her than she'd be if you told her.

you need to tell your mom because if you did have a miscarriage (which is very common in early pregnancy especially as young as you are) you need to go to the doctor to make sure everything passed because if there is anything left in you, you can get an infection.......most likely you did not cause this....it happens alot during your very first pregnancy...I had a miscarriage at 17 that I thought I caused to it is very normal to feel that way when you didn't want to be pregnant in the first place....tell your mom it will be OK

You didn't make your baby die. You need to go to a hospital because if you did have a miscarriage (and it sounds like you did), you need to be sure all the tissue is out of your body and that there are not any other health issues.
