In the beginning episodes of the show, Jesse's last name was Cockran. Later in the series, it became Katazopolis. Does anyone know what the reason for that was?

He did marry rebecca, but her last name is donaldson.

Yes I remember Full House, I love it! This is because the actor who played Jesse, John Stamos requested to have it changed to Katsopolis. Just to tell you it's spelled Cochran.

I loved that show "back in the day." I related to DJ the most and thought that Jesse was sooo cute. Now I watch it and it tends to be overly cheesy and quite annoying. But I liked it when I was little. I think Full House redone wouldn't work. Especially if you continued the concept with new characters. There are other similar shows that fit into today's world and they are working fine.

Yes I remember it I loved it so much watched it all the time........I don't remember though, I even have a book on Full House and it's characters not sure where it's at or if it says in there though.

I think I read somewhere that John Stamos (who played Uncle Jesse) wanted his character to better represent his own Greek heritage. Don't quote me on that though.
