Everyone I see even strangers in Public say she looks like Dora. Personally I only see me as kid in her. What should I do. She must look something like her. Should I try to put her in commercials or something? If so how do I get started? Please Help if you know.

why would someone want to hire a girl who looks like dora? they would just use the cartoon if they wanted that.

you start by going to modeling agencies for kids, you have to be willing to spend endless hours with yr daughter in a studio, with other screaming children and competition.
I dont know where you live, but the major towns to do these are in California, NY , SF etc
Check out the web sites there may be some info for you.
Just dont have a heart attack if you have gone for 30th time to interview and they choose someoen else. It happens all the time.
Its a tough job. ANd one that needs particular set of skills and parenting and patience.
My sister did this for a few years, some of her daughters wree really good and one very cute and she did get to be incommercial for diapers (a commercial that is up here in USA but it was filmed inMexico coz its cheaper).
Consider if you and your daughter really want that career move. YOur daughter might be really cute, but fame dont always come for all cuties, it s hard work and has much responsibilites.
Finally, if this is what you want to do, GO FOR IT NOW! DONT PUT A THOUGHT OF "NO" IN YR HEAD AND GO FOR THE TOP! YOU'LL MAKE IT AND SO WILL YR DAUGHTER.

Just say "Thank you, we get that all the time!" when someone says she looks like Dora. I wouldn't start trying to get her into commercials. Just let her be a kid.

Not right, not at this age. She is just small, who cares if she looks like Dora, that just means she is cute and pretty. Dont put her in commercials or pagents untill she is old enough to decide responsibly if she wants to. Most little girls will just say they want to do it, but once older, they may know if they truley want to start that.

well then Dora the Explora well i have to say that she is a cartoon Charcter and some people are wacko! But she really must be a cutie ? But to answer your question NO if you want to go ahead but dont listen to what other people say about your own kid you gave birth to it? So No but i hope that you have a wonderful day!

i don't understand why others are turning out to be their feathers all ruffled up about that. it really is the first I actual have heard of it and that i imagine this image you presented, she seems truly stunning. not some thing incorrect with the "new Dora".

No commercials for kids! Let her enjoy a normal childhood and take the compliments like you would any other!

Well, you can watch the show, and see if she does look like her... then you can go and see a tv interviewer. If she does, and the interviewer accepts her... Then good for you!
