Can anyone provide any links or names of aritcles that would provide good examples of or information on assessment centers - I'm looking for examples of what materials/strategies businesses have used for their assessment centers/in-basket procedures.

Ok does any one have any role play exercise ideas for assessment centers for school administrators? And no, not sexual role play.

If you don't know what I'm talking about when I say assessment center, you probably don't have the resources i'm looking for. However....what I'm referring to - an assessment center - is a method of evaluating work performance. An assessment center usually consists of multiple methods of assessing work performance, such as a leaderless discussion, some kind of work simulation such as responding to multiple emails while prioritizing what to respond to first, and a role play exercise. I work in a public organization, and we will be using our assessment center for selection, however a lot of organizations use if for promotion, performance eval., etc.

It may help if you actually tell us what kind of assessment centre you are talkin about. Is this a psychological assessment for a specific reason? Assessment of skills?
