San Diego in California has beautiful beaches and is a really fun place to visit. There is a lot to do- museums, nightlife, the zoo and sea world, sailboating, etc. It is a lively and beautiful place and great for family vacationing!
If you take a cruise, I would recommend taking one that goes through somewhere in the Caribbean. Cruises are really fun, and you will get to dock at some of the islands in the Caribbean which are gorgeous and full of lots of activities and culture.

i think you should go on a cruise. you and your granddaughter will both love it. although it is a little more expensive than the beach, per say, it is a lot of fun and you get to see and do many more things.

I would definitely go on a cruise. They have many activities for everyone all ages. You can visit cruise sights on the web and look up different itineraries. Once you pick out your destinations, start looking up different shore excursions to go on once you port at each island. They should also state what activities are on each ship. Once on board sit back, relax, and have a blast together = )

I think you and ur granddaughter will have loads of fun in Destin, Florida, or somewhere in California. They are both beautiful.
In case you're wondering, Florida is fine. They got most everything cleaned up from the hurricane.

you should go to the beach, it's always fun for kids and you can also have fun. just make sure to apply sunscreen and watch your granddaughter and make sure she doesn't go too far in the water.

A long one...far,far away where the rest of us Yahooers don't have to read and answer such mundane questions like yours.
P.S. Leave your granddaughter alone.
