dogs...hands down...there soo excited to see u when u come home, and loved to be played with n follow u around all ova the house awwww i miss my doggy now.

I say dogs -- they are more friendly, people-oriented, can interact more with humans (tricks, play, even understand simple commands), they are very loyal, good at guarding home and family,
and far more playful (overall) than cats. Cats are beautiful, but they lack that "personality plus" that dogs have!

i like dogs they are so cute but i would have to say cat because the cat is cute and everything but it does its business in a litter box whereas u have to walk a dog. i would get so fed up with that eventually.

DOGS!!! They will play with you, ans they are soooo cute when they are puppys. You can enter them into frisbee and agility competitions
Cats on the other hand, just push them away. All they are good for is shedding all over your house. It's not very plesant.

Depends on your circumstance and personality. Most people have dogs for "best friends". Cats however are self-supporting, and you can toilet train cats, so you don't have to clean their mess everywhere, and they're quiet and huggable.

I love dogs, cats scratch everything and they're not as loyal. There are exceptions but they're few and far between.

Cat - because it's low maintenance. But then again, it depends on the breed.
I have a Chartreux...and she's very low maintenance. No combing necessary. Does not meow much.
