i'm also shy as well so what i tell your i think i will try it myself
you're only in this world for a certain amount of time
so enjoy it while you can
take chances so you can experience new things
talk to the guy you like and if he doesn't like you back then his loss
so what if he says no? you can be proud of yourself with trying and feel more confident with yourself
think about it
if you take this step then it will be so much easier for you to overcome your shyness
i hope you do it..and good luck with it and the guy
