I'm moving 200 miles away from where I've lived my whole life and am starting high school there. So I was wondering what is the best way to approach new people or to talk to people who might become friends with me?

Be yourself. You will meet more people in class and in any extracircular activities you may join. Don't be afraid to say hello and speak to people Good Luck

Join a club or sport. It is easiest to make friends with people who already have a common interest with you. If you have lived one place your whole life, the change may be refreshing.

join a club. You will more than likely meet intelligent people there who will sympathize with you. Moving is tough. Just put yourself out there and accept all invitations to any events just to be out of the house.

I had the same problem when I was in high school! I met one person from a class and told them that I was looking for friends. They introduced me to their friends, and then I met their friends' friends, and so on! That is my advice for you! Good luck in your transition!

first of all be yourself, i think the best way is to join some clubs or sports teams. i think that would be a good ice breaker.
