Might depend where it is. Within Dartmoor National Park, for instance, there is a specific Byelaw which prohibits it http://www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk/au-byelaws

The fact that they have had to specify this in a byelaw indicates that it is not already a specific national law covered by the Road Traffic Act

To live in, or just to park? You can't live in a vehicle on a public road, but it can be parked. Check the Highway Code to be sure.

Are you one of those who buys a caravan to go on holiday? But yet holidays out on their own front driveway. Seriously ive seen people do that, also one parked up on the M4 between newport and the severn bridge. Having acup of tea in a deck chair.

In Ireland yes, but you have to move it 1inch every 24hrs
