Yes I would forgive someone if they cheated on me. On the other hand, the real question is will I stay with that person! I have been in relationships, yes plural, where I have been cheated on. I tried to stay in 2 of them, but it didn't work out in the end. The main and most important thing in a realtionship, is trust, and once that is gone, the rest will soon fail as well. So yes, forgive them, because you don't need that spiritual baggage preventing you from going forward, but you may want to reconsider if you decide to stay with that person.

You can take them back, you can try to trust them again, but never burn the bridges.
People that cheat, never really loved you fully. If a person that you are in a relastionship gives themself to someone else, then you're not fully in their heart.
It doesn't matter how long you've been married. Doesn't matter how many children you have together. Doesn't matter the reasons for the cheating - the point is, it's cheating.
No, I would never forgive. I would rather get on with my life, and be with someone who loves me as much as I love them.

Forgive yes. Remain with them? Not on your life. Trust is so important in relationships. If you cant trust someone how can you love them?

I did forgive a woman who cheated on me. It was great for a while. Then, just when I thought we moving forward again, she did it again.
My advice to everyone in this situation is ...
1) If you don't have children, just move on.
2) If you do have children, you owe it to try to work it out -- once.

It would depend on how much I've invested in this person and the circumstances of why they cheated. Coule I forgive? Yes, but it would be hard.

That really depends on the situation and the person. If my husband whom I have been with for 11+ years cheated he'd be served divorce papers the next day.

Most likely not. If they cheated on me for a really good reason [I mean really good!!!] then maybe, but not necessarily.
