If you are still bleeding, there is no way that fertilization will happen. First of all, the egg is already dead and the endometrial lining has already been shed thru the menstrual flow. If there will be no egg present, even if there is enough supply of sperm, there will be no fertilization. In fact, the semen will not stay in the uterus because it will be discharged by the blood flow. Depending on your cycle length, if you have a very short cycle length, having sex at the later part of your period might result to pregnancy as there are some women who ovulate as soon as their periods are over.

It's always possible--but it's more likely to happen around 2 weeks starting from the first day of your period.

Never say never. You should never have sex without protection, unless you are married and want a child. If it is to be, it will be.
