That would be a NO!!! That's a dream and a fantasy all rolled up into one!!! With what pitching? This area has been their strong point, during their run of 14 straight divisional titles. But looking at their current rotation: Smoltz has been decent, Hudson has been all over the place, and is definitely not pitching like he was with the A's a couple of years ago....the rest of the rotation Thomson and Ramirez (are way too inconsistent). James hasn't been too bad. The bullpen is horrendous. The hitting is not too bad, but pitching wins championships and they are clearly lacking in that area. This all adds up to finishing under .500, and way out of the running for a playoff berth. I know the NL is weak, but this is clearly a team that's in transition.

In the weak National League I would say it's a possibility. But I do think that their chances are slim. They've done a great job of maintaining a strong farm system, but they are a young team. This may be seen as a rebuilding season for them. I don't think they will be down for long, though, simply because of the aforementioned development of their farm system.

Poor Braves, it's been a tough year. I am a HUGE FAN, but I don't think they will pull it off. Much love to the Braves fans!!! Kisses!

If they keep on playing like they have in the last 3-4 days; it's possible.
