i sent my landlord a note because she is trying to kick me and my friend out without a month notice cuz she sold the place. The law here as i checked into states she needs to give a month written notice. I told her in the letter than she can use my damage deposit to pay the remaining money i owe her but she wont accept that she says she want more but i dont usually pay her more. She responded to my friends note but not to mine our door are five feet apart there is no way she missed it. She is telling the new landlord that we are cutting her down and breaking things on purpose what do i do?

If she's trying to kick you out illegally and/or demand more money out of you than is specified in your lease agreement, then you need an attorney.

Make sure you send things to her registered or certified mail.
Make the letters typed and official-sounding. Write to the new landlord and explain the situation?? Look for another place to live.

You need to contact the fair housing divison for your county. Get an appointment and they can aide you through the steps you need to take or give you advice that falls within the laws.
